Humanitarian-based Immigration Law
CWJC provides free consultations on immigration law questions to low-income residents of Central and Western Massachusetts.
We provide free representation before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court to individuals applying for humanitarian immigration relief, including:
- Violence Against Women Act petitions for survivors of domestic violence
- U visas for crime victims
- T visas for trafficking victims
- Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for abused, neglected, and abandoned children
- Asylum for individuals seeking protection from persecution in their home countries
- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
